Scion set out to connect with a young, urban audience by building a brand that felt as individual as the people it was made for. The cars were fully customizable and sold online, and every story needed to center around identity and self-expression.
With the brand having already explored the typical artist, musician, and barista archetypes, the creative took a different approach. A sci-fi-inspired concept introduced the idea of a "teleporter", a bold character that allowed for stylized visuals, heavy CGI, and a fresh take on the car as a symbol of imagination and individuality.
The work reinforced Scion’s core belief that a car is an extension of the self, while helping the brand stand out in a crowded, often lookalike category.
